WWE NXT is back this afternoon (April 19, 2025) with their annual WrestleMania Saturday premium live event, Stand & Deliver! The fifth annual edition of the show comes our way from Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena. The show is WWE’s afternoon matinee before the Granddaddy of The All tonight. Stand & Deliver is set to get rolling at 1:00 p.m. ET, with a free pre-show starting one hour early.

The Ruler won the belt from Trick in a Triple Threat where the champ wasn’t pinned. Since then, Femi’s continued his dominant NXT run with a new championship while Williams has been on a mission to get it back. Evans was the man Femi did pin in that match, which is likely one of the reasons their relationship’s gotten frostier over the past few months. The Young OG probably didn’t love getting hit with an accidental Trick Shot in the build to this either. Also, wrestling’s latest “we’re tired of waiting for our turn so we’re gonna wreak havoc” faction — Darkstate — has been lurking around this program... and beat the three men in Stand & Deliver’s title match in trios action a couple weeks back, with Evans taking the pin there, too.

NXT’s men’s scene desperately needs a spark. I thought Femi would provide that, but I’m still not feeling it. The Young O.G. deserves a chance to light it. It might make more sense to have a fully heel (and Darkstate aligned) Trick win so Evans can chase, and if they go that route this pick is premature. But I’ve never let probably being wrong stop me before. Ever since Trick Williams lost the NXT Title and Je’Von Evans lost his smile, each man has seemingly entered a “dark state.” Ironically, it was Evans who got pinned in a multi-person match last year that cost Williams his title. Nathan Frazer & Axiom will defend their NXT Tag Team Titles against Hank Walker & Tank Ledger. Hank & Tank got their shot after surviving a gauntlet match, so fans are excited to see how they will fare against Fraxiom. Finally, The D’Angelo Family will duke it out with DarkState in tag team action as Las Vegas will turn into a turf war. Fans expect a lot of hard-hitting action from start to finish.
