WWE Raw will feature a championship match, the debut of a new tag team and a rematch from WWE Wrestlepalooza. Dominik Mysterio makes his sixth defence of the WWE Intercontinental Championship since his April WrestleMania victory. Former three-time US Champion Rusev looks to win his first WWE title since he returned to the company just after WrestleMania.

Mysterio has been pushing the patience of his Judgement Day brethren, Finn Balor recently. Perhaps Balor will look to hit Mysterio when it hurts. Balor’s dissatisfaction is largely based on Mysterio using El Grande Americano to help him win matches. El Grande Americano will be too busy to help Dirty Dom on Monday, as the two other Americanos who have helped him win matches make their debut in tag action against Dragon Lee and AJ Styles. The trio of El Grande Americanos still isn’t as many variations as we’ve seen from Bayley recently. The split personality Bayley will take on Raquel Rodriguez this week, as is tradition for anyone who has recently wrestled Roxanne Perez.

Bayley will be going one-on-one with Raquel Rodriguez. This comes after Bayley managed to beat Roxanne Perez on last week’s Raw and now fans are waiting to see if she can keep the momentum going with a win over Rodriguez. AJ Styles will also team up with Dragon Lee against Los Americanos in a tag team match. This is after the Los Americanos faction was introduced last week and we’ll have to see if Styles and Lee can topple Los Americanos once and for all. Finally, Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY are set to make an appearance on the show. After ASUKA turned heel last week and attacked by Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY, both of them will certainly have a lot to say on the matter.

During last week’s show, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee had a conversation with GM Adam Pearce. Styles mentioned that the Americanos were starting to annoy him, and, being as petty as he is, they wanted a match the following week. When Pearce asked which two of the Americanos they wanted, they replied they didn’t care. Pearce assured them he’d talk to the Americanos and get the match made. WWE has yet to announce the match officially.
