This week’s episode of WWE NXT will serve as the NXT Battleground go-home show. This is quite a stacked show, with four matches confirmed and two other segments. This is the May 20 WWE NXT preview. The NXT Battleground card is shaping up to be a great one. The NXT North American Championships could find their number one contenders on this show. Kelani Jordan takes on ZARIA for a shot at Sol Ruca’s NXT Women’s North American Championship. A triple threat between Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis, Je’Von Evans, and Sean Legacy will yield Ricky Saints’ challenger.
Shawn Spears will go one-on-one with Josh Briggs in a match that could have big implications for both men’s position in the men’s division, so it remains to be seen who will pick up the win in the end. Sean Legacy, Je’Von Evans, and Ashante Thee Adonis will compete in a triple-threat match, with all three determined to get some momentum. Naturally, fans are looking forward to the match in a big way. Finally, Kelani Jordan will face Zaria in a singles match. If Jordan wins, she will earn a title match against Sol Ruca for the NXT Women’s North American Championship and so Jordan has a lot to gain in the bout and we’ll have to see if Jordan can topple Zaria once and for all.
