In last week’s TNA Knockouts Tag Team Title match, we inched closer to the implosion of the tandem known as ZaRuca. Tension between Sol Ruca and Zaria has been escalating for weeks, and the latest miscommunication cost them gold last week. Sol went for a Sol Snatcher and the Elegance Brand acted like a Rube Goldberg machine, resulting in Ruca snatching her partner’s Sol instead. It has finally been confirmed that next week on NXT, Jaida Parker and Blake Monroe will meet in the ring. The two women have been going back and forth for weeks, yet never had a match against one another. Now that will finally change, and we will see who can back up their words. The issues between the women hit a boiling point last Tuesday when Monroe attacked Parker in the parking lot before NXT took place. Parker was left on the ground while security was dragging Monroe away. This match between the two will be intense, as they clearly have a lot of anger toward one another.

Elsewhere last week, NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne set her sights on Sol, looking to avenge Ruca getting the best of her in the Royal Rumble, on a night when Ruca would last until the final 3. After a confrontation in the ring, interim NXT GM Robert Stone set up a tag team match for this week between ZaRuca and Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair of the WrenQCC. It seems like win, lose, or draw, one of the final chapters in the ZaRuca saga will be written tonight! Last week on NXT, Joe Hendry survived a brutal 7-man ladder match to become the new NXT Champion. In a match that gave a lot of shine to a few up-and-coming young stars, it was the former TNA Champion and WrestleMania opponent of Randy Orton who climbed the ladder and retrieved the big silver belt. Will one of the 6 men he outlasted, like Ricky Saints or Keanu Carver, be the first in line for a title shot.
