WWE taped the next two episodes of NXT on Wednesday so the roster can take time off for the holidays an exciting show from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Tatum Paxley interrupted Izzi Dame’s promo, leading to a match being set for New Year’s Evil. Jacy Jayne beat Wren Sinclair. After the match, Fatal Influence attacked Sinclair until Kendal Grey made the save and held up the NXT Women’s Title. Additionally, the highly-popular NXT Year-End Awards will be announced throughout the final episode of the year. On the final show, Je’Von Evans is set to take on Ricky Saints in a singles match, while NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne will battle Wren Sinclair. This comes a week before her title defense against WWE Evolve Women’s Champion Kendal Gray, Sinclair’s ally. On the other hand, Ethan Page will put the NXT North American title on the line against TNA’s Moose.

As mentioned, the episode will also feature the annual NXT Year-End Awards, with winners announced throughout the night. Je’Von Evans and Ricky Saints have been going back and forth regarding who is better and more deserving of opportunities. This will get settled once and for all in this year-end episode of NXT. Last week, the two had quite an exchange of words. Evans pointed out that he has had matches on RAW, SmackDown, and on Saturday Night Main Event, where it was John Cena’s final show.
