Two huge first-time matches will define the future of AEW’s men’s and women’s divisions. Ascension vs. redemption is great marketing and concise storytelling at its best, summarising both men’s AEW journeys. One that undoubtedly could shatter many fans’ ceilings of expectations. Whilst Mercedes Mone vs. Jamie Hayter does not have the same depth and history, this first-time clash will be year-defining. With Mone receiving her first loss, Hayter’s restoration and reinvention are evolving. A win could make or break Hayter’s return to form and prominence. Yet, a win for Mone provides possibly the biggest star vs. star match for the women’s division at All In. Expanding to six folks per team, the addition of Willow Nightingale and Marina Shafir adds a cherry to women’s main eventing in AEW to proceedings. Always chaotic and entertaining, this year’s Anarchy in the Arena was obvious and signposted since before Spring Break-Thru. However, the predictability doesn’t undermine the unpredictability of this fixture. These are a few of the tangible narrative strands of what is usually an erratic match, where escalation can feel limitless.

Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin will defend their AEW Tag Team Titles against Sammy Guevara and Dustin Rhodes at AEW Double or Nothing. With MJF officially a member of the Hurt Syndicate, fans wouldn’t be surprised to see him get involved in the match in a big way and so it remains to be seen what will happen during the match. Mark Briscoe and Ricochet will take their feud to a whole new level as they will be facing off against each other in a brutal stretcher match. In another match, Nigel McGuinness will make his in-ring return as he teams up with Daniel Garcia to face off against FTR in tag team action. Paragon will also compete against the Don Callis Family after weeks of feuding with each other. Finally, Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford will team up to face Harley Cameron and Anna Jay in a women’s tag team bout, which is set for the Double or Nothing: Buy-In show.
