AEW rolled into Boeing Center at TechPort in San Antonio, Texas, for yesterday’s episode of Dynamite, where they also taped this Saturday’s (Oct. 25) episode of Collision.

The show opened with AEW World Champion Hangman Page cutting a promo on Samoa Joe. He is going to ruin Joe’s life after what The Opps did to him in the post-match attack at WrestleDream. Jurassic Express & JetSpeed defeated Young Bucks & FTR in a $400,000 All Star 8-man tag team match, with FTR taking the fall. Jack Perry gave the Bucks a stack of cash afterwards. PAC beat Tomohiro Ishii. Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, and Marina Shafir all got involved in the match. Thekla defeated Mina Shirakawa by submission following interference from Skye Blue and Julia Hart. The MxM Collection open challenge turned into a match where CMLL star Olympia beat Taya Valkyrie in three minutes. Ace Austin defeated Bryan Keith. Austin was said to be “more over than people expected.”

Nothing else seemed to be announced for next month’s Full Gear pay-per-view. The only confirmed match so far is Kris Statlander defending the AEW Women’s World Championship against Mercedes Mone. The Los Angeles Chargers crushed the Minnesota Vikings 37-10 at home in a game where Justin Herbert threw three touchdowns to continue adding to his collection of solid individual outings. Minnesota once again called upon Carson Wentz to try to keep the team above .500, but the veteran quarterback offered very little in an easy game for the LA defense. The result moved Los Angeles to 5-3 following some disappointing losses, and the return of left tackle Joe Alt provided a boost to the running game that has recently lacked without Omarion Hampton and Najee Harris. On the other hand, the Vikings dropped to 3-4 in a tough NFC North division that isn’t leaving much margin for error. Even when J.J. McCarthy returns, there aren’t any guarantees he’s good enough to get the team back into playoff contention.
